Classes
How do I purchase a class?
Mindbody is booking system you can utilize by clicking Class Schedule. We also accept venmo and apple pay if your not super app savy. Mindbody deoes require you first create an account and then choose which classes you would like to attend. You can also sign up the day of a class by coming into the studio 30-15 minutes prior to start of class. We can also help you sign up online at this time if you are experiencing any trouble.
When can I sign up for classes?
Our booking window is open six weeks in advance. We recommend booking your classes early, before they fill up!
How do I see what classes I am currently signed up for?
The Mindbody app also sends emails or text but you must specificy this when you sign up, The app will list the classes your signed up in the home screen under fitness.
What is the cancellation policy for classes?
You can cancel a reservation for class without charge up to 2 hours in advance of the start time of class. Once cancelled, the class credit will go back into your account for use another time. If you cancel a class within 2 hours of the start time, you will be charged 10$ for the class. We apologize that we cannot make any exceptions.
What happens if I am on the wait list?
You will recieve an email notifying you if you have been added to the class off the wait list. Once you have been added to a class, you will be charged for that class if you do not remove yourself from the class or do not show up. The wait list closes two hours before class starts, so if you have not received an email by that time, you will not be added off the wait list. You can cancel a wait list reservation without charge up until four hours before class starts.
What happens if I miss class?
You will lose the credit for any classes that you miss. If you have an unlimited monthly membership, we ask that you please only sign up for classes that you will attend and that you remove yourself from any classes that you know you will not be able to attend as soon as possible so that we can give your spot to someone else. If you have an unlimited monthly membership and do not cancel outside the 2 hour window or do not show up, you will be charged a fee.
When do my class credits expire?
Class expiration dates and class packages have a six month window. Unlimited memberships are 30 days and unlimited monthly membership contracts are three months minimum.
What happens if I am running late?
Please give us a call to let us know you're running late. However, after ten minutes of the start time we unfortunately will not be able to let you into the class as to not disturb other members' practice.
Private Sessions
Do you offer private sessions?
One-on-one sessions are utilized based on your needs. Sessions are one hour and are designed specifically for you. All of our teachers are certified and experienced, not to mention super awesome! We will chat with you prior to your session to make sure we incorporate what your goals are for that specific class. This is a great way to learn more as beginner or simply deepen your practice as an advanced yogi. Can I do my private sessions with a friend?
Yes! Classes with a friend is a great way to still get the personal attention and results while also making it more fun and keeping costs down. We offer small group yoga classes on our schedule up to 10 people per class. We can also accommodate small group private sessions either in the studio or off site. Pricing is a set fee for the space or travel and then $35.00 per person after that. Group session are also perfect for special occasion and family get togethers. What is the cancellation policy for private sessions?
ou can cancel a reservation for a private session without charge up to 24 hours in advance of the start time. Once cancelled, the credit will go back into your account for use another time. If you cancel a session within 24 hours of the start time, you will be charged for the session. We apologize that we cannot make any exceptions.
Physical Practice
I’m new to Yoga or haven’t taken a class in a very long time, can I take a class?
Absolutely! Our classes are designed for all fitness levels – you can go at your own pace and do not have to worry about what anyone else in the class is doing. Our teachers are skilled at giving modifications for exercises if you have any injuries or are out of practice. You did the hard part by showing up to class – now we will help you get through it and feel great!
How often do you recommend coming to class?
Our class schedule is designed so that you can come every day! The Benefits of a regular yoga practice are way beyond the physical so its recommended at least three times a week. After you develop a regular practice, you can take yoga with you wherever you go. Starting in the fall we will be offering workshops to dive deeper into the practice.
Can I take a class if I am pregnant?
If your doctor has cleared you for exercise, we certainly encourage you to come to class. We do recommend that you use your discretion and make sure your doctor has cleared you for participation. Please also notify the instructor before class so she can give you any necessary modifications.
Other
Where can I park?
We have two free parking lots for our members. We just politely ask that you do not park in front of building as some clients perform exercises in that area. After daily business hours are over you are also able to park in surrounding areas. There may also be street parking available, but we also ask please be respectful of home owners, their driveway path and their lawns.
How can I find out about schedule changes?
Any changes made to scheduled will be done before the day of, so you will see on scheduled different time frames, teachers, or any cancellations. You're always welcome to come by, email us, call or text with any questions.
Do you have showers at your studio?
Yes, we do have one shower in the space.
Do you provide towels or do I need to bring my own?
We have towels for you to use for your class and for showering.
Do you offer childcare?
We do not currently offer any form of child care. However, we will be adding a kids yoga class to the schedule soon.
I'm injured - can I still take class?
All classes can be modified so it really depends on the level of injury and how you are personally feeling within the recovery process. However, if you are injured and are on crutches, wearing a hard/soft castor brace, you must present a doctors note upon arriving at the studio in order to participate in class. This is not only for your safety, but also for the safety of your fellow students.
